Why I’m taking a short break (and what’s coming next).

I’m pausing the weekly videos for a few weeks — not stopping, just regrouping. Here’s why, and what’s coming next.

The short version: I’ve been hitting the weekly slot, but I haven’t been making each video as good as I want it to be.

So I’m taking a few weeks to rebuild how I make videos, and to put together a proper beginner series from the ground up — six episodes that take someone from “what is this hobby” all the way to running a small show on their driveway. If you’ve been subscribed for a while, thank you for the patience.

The next video you see from me is going to be a good one.

Checking Pixel Power Consumption – Newbies ’26 Course #9

This week we run through how to check the amount of current actually being drawn by some 12v Resistor Pixels, some Seeds and some 12v Native 12v pixels. We show how to connect the meter and how to get a real life measurement.

Repairing Pixels – ’26 Newbies Course #6

At some point you’re going to have a pixel fail. Never at a convenient moment, or location – you need to be ready & practiced to fix such an eventuality, In this weeks video we explain which pixels to change, why and then run through cutting out the old ones and fixing the break with solder seals for a complete and permanent fix.
